The Sancak Family adopted the principle of serving our community, with a human oriented approach, in all our commercial activities and in our social lives.

Based on this principle we founded the Sancaklar Foundation for Education, Health, Culture and Social Aid in 2005 in order to contribute to educational, medical and cultural needs of our community, and to reach and support more people in need.

The Sancaklar Foundation gives utmost priority to educational activities. As a country with a large population of young people, without a doubt the road to a bright future passes through ensuring good education for our young. With the awareness that a generation comprising of young individuals equipped with knowledge and wisdom to use it will carry our country to a better future in all its aspect, we commit largest part of our Foundation's income to scholarships and educational aids.

Our Foundation does not only engage in school and student housing projects, but also builds health centres and places of worship, thus also contributing to satisfying needs in the fields of health and culture.

In scope of cultural activities, our annual Holy Birth event organised for a week in Siirt every year encourages the students towards learning with poetry and quiz contests, and introduces various events and art activities for the community.

As the member of this Foundation we are committed to continue our activities, inspired by the elation that comes from helping those in need, and supporting our young on their path to education. We hope that new generations ingrained with awareness of their social responsibility will take over and continue the activities of our Foundation.
