The Siirt Market Mosque located in Central Siirt and having roots reaching to 1265 was rebuilt in 2003 by contributions of Sancak Family and took the name of "Hacı Abdulhakim Sancak Market Mosque". After hosting many religious programs, the mosque was expanded in 2011 to reach a 4000 people capacity, and became the largest mosque in the province.
